When I was 15 years old, I toured the United States with my first punk band. From an early age, I was surrounded by creative people bringing their ideas to life: writing music, booking shows, recording albums, designing merchandise, making movies and publishing zines. We didn't have expensive gear or huge budgets. We pushed against our limitations, learned to do things ourselves, and let our creativity guide us. That DIY ethos drives my work at Electric Prairie Recordings. If you can hear it in your head, then you can play it in the room!
